The first Steel Recycling Plant of Tata Steel commissioned in Rohtak, Haryana

The Global steel leader,  Tata Steel  launched two new brands namely Tata FerroBaled® and Tata FerroShred® for its Baled & Shredded Ferrous Scrap produced. The group lived up to its commitment of sustainable tomorrow and commissioned its new 0.5 MnTPA Steel Recycling Plant at Rohtak, Haryana. The plant has been set up in collaboration with M/s Aarti Green Tech Ltd., as a ‘Build, Own, Operate’ (BOO) partner. This facility is the first of its kind in India and is equipped with modern and mechanised equipment. They will procure the scrap from various market segments like end-of-life vehicles, obsolete households, construction & demolition, industrial etc. This will be done through an App FerroHaat®. The high-quality processed scrap will be supplied for downstream steel making.
